Mitra Ayu has been planting Massoia Trees in West Sumatra since 2014.
We brought the Massoia seeds and the small Massoia seedlings from Papua and consistently growing and making more seedlings from the new tree to plant more trees in the Mitra Ayu Solok Plantation.
Today in 2022, we have several hundreds of trees at about 5-8 years olds with diameter of 10-15 centimeters.
We also encourage many farmers nearby our plantation to start planting Massoia Trees in their land by providing free seedlings and training on how to care of these trees.
We hope in the future there will be another source of Massoia besides the Papuan Forests.
