Application of Massoia Bark Hydrosol
Massoia bark hydrosol, also known as massoia essential oil hydrosol, is a water-based product derived from steam distillation or obtained from the water phased fraction from extraction of massoia bark (Cryptocarya massoia) using Supercritical CO2. The hydrosols contain the water-soluble constituents of the Massoia bark, i.e. benzyl alcohol and Massoia Lactone C10, and have a milder aroma compared to the essential oil counterpart. Massoia bark hydrosol is known for its sweet, creamy, and slightly spicy fragrance. It can be used for aromatherapy, perfumery, food and beverages applications. Some potential benefits and uses of massoia bark hydrosol may include:
